Profile to take along
For the file, the managing director or the next supplier meeting. All figures come from your lists.
03What the profile shows
This is how each category file is built.
Spend is summed per category. Where the category is missing, AICTIONBOT™ suggests one from supplier and text, as in the spend cube. Contracts are matched by supplier, the last notice day is computed from end date and notice period.
- PositionMuch or little money, many or few suppliers: strategic, leverage, bottleneck or routine. A rule of thumb after Kraljic, from your figures.
- Notice dayIf the last notice day falls within the next 90 days it goes to the top, within 30 days as stop. If it was missed, we say so.
- DependencyIf more than 70 percent goes to one supplier, there is no fallback. A second source pays off.
- Large supplier without a contractFrom a 30 percent share and €5,000 without a contract on file, the profile suggests a framework agreement.
- FragmentedFour or more suppliers, none above 50 percent: bundling strengthens your negotiation.
- Small ordersIf 40 percent of postings are below €250, orders cost more time than money. Ordering days and a catalogue help.
- Rising spendIf the second half of the period grows by 15 percent or more, check price against volume with the price increase checker.
04In the chain · inputs
First see where the money goes. Then act.
The spend cube shows all categories at a glance. The profile takes one of them. The deadline guard keeps the notice days, and every lever leads to the tool for the next step.

CSV with semicolon, comma or tab, or Excel. The same export as for the spend cube is enough: from accounting, the bank account or the ordering system. Where the category is missing, AICTIONBOT™ suggests one. Common other column names are recognised.
05Questions and answers
What businesses ask us most.
Which list do I need?
Any list with supplier and amount, ideally with a date: an export from accounting, the bank account or the ordering system. The same file as for the spend cube.
What is a category?
Everything you buy for the same purpose, for example packaging, cleaning or IT. If it is not in your list, AICTIONBOT™ suggests one from supplier and text.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The profile runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server or stored. Only if you load a photo does the AI read the table from it.
What does the position mean?
It is a rule of thumb after Kraljic: volume against supplier lock-in. It tells you which kind of lever pays off, but it does not replace your knowledge of the market.
What does the profile cost?
Nothing. The Category Profile is free, without an account and without a daily limit.
